Service kit for high-pressure activated carbon column TACHP-100-150
Code: TACHP-100-150SProduct detailed description

Service kit TACHP-100-150S contains the original Omega Air activated carbon charge for the TACHP-100-150 high-pressure column with a pressure class of 100 bar.
Data
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| For column | TACHP-100-150 |
| Charge replacement | every 12 months or earlier |
| Oil content check | once a month with the indicator |
| Residual oil vapour content with a new charge | less than 0.003 mg/m³ |
When to replace the charge
The manufacturer recommends replacing the activated carbon every 12 months, earlier if the oil content in the air is higher. The oil content is checked once a month with an oil content indicator. The charge is replaced through the filling and drain openings, using the service kit for the given column size.
Activated carbon
Activated carbon is an adsorption material with a large number of small pores. The pores increase the internal surface on which oil molecules are trapped: according to the manufacturer, a single gram of carbon has up to 500 m² of surface for gas adsorption, so 10 g of carbon has an area comparable to a football pitch.
Which column it fits
The kit is only for the TACHP-100-150 column, other sizes have their own kit.
You will find other high-pressure columns and kits in the category TACHP high-pressure activated carbon columns.

Omega Air is a Slovenian manufacturer of compressed air treatment equipment based in Ljubljana. Founded in 1988, the company now has 370 employees and exports to more than 80 countries. It has its own development team and patents and carries out almost all production in its own facilities.
We mainly offer industrial filters up to 420 bar with replacement elements, stainless steel process and sterile filters, refrigeration, desiccant and membrane dryers, activated carbon columns, oil-water separators and condensate drains. They are used in workshops and large plants, in food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and paint shops.
Slovenian manufacturerOmega Air filters, dryers and separators
Industrial filters up to 50 bar
Filters for standard air lines. AAF and BF ranges up to 16 bar, BFHP up to 25 bar and HF up to 50 bar. The element sets the filtration grade.
- from coarse filter to activated carbon
- G 1/8" to 3" thread or DN80 to DN300 flanges
- AAFHT for hot air up to +120 °C
CHP and IHP high-pressure filters
For 100, 250 and 420 bar. CHP housings are nickel-plated carbon steel, IHP housings stainless steel.
- 8 sizes with G 1/4" to 2" thread
- flow 667 to 11,917 l/min at 7 bar
- six grades up to activated carbon
Stainless steel process filters
1.4404 stainless steel for food and pharma. Six ranges up to 14 and 50 bar with thread, flanges or welding ends.
- 12 filtration grades in each range
- sterile element in the PF and HPF ranges
- flow 1,250 to 352,000 l/min at 7 bar
RDS refrigeration dryers
Dew point +3 °C for most plants. The air cools down in the dryer, water condenses and the drain removes it without losing air.
- 18 sizes, 333 to 31,667 l/min
- working pressure up to 16 bar
- controller shows the dew point
ADRY desiccant dryers
Very dry air, dew point −40 °C. Moisture is captured by desiccant in two alternating columns.
- 9 sizes, 6 to 200 Nm³/h
- dew point −25 or −70 °C on request
- inlet and outlet filter included
MADRY membrane dryers
They dry without electricity. Water vapour passes through the wall of hollow fibres, dry air stays inside.
- 12 sizes, 50 to 3,000 l/min
- dew point down to −40 °C, up to 12 bar
- fine pre-filter and microfilter included
TAC activated carbon columns
They capture oil vapours that filters let through. The air flows through a bed of granular activated carbon.
- outlet oil below 0.003 mg/m³
- 19 sizes, 6 to 1,200 Nm³/h
- up to 16 bar, high-pressure TACHP up to 420 bar
WOS oil-water separators
They separate oil from condensate. Oil stays in the polypropylene fibre and activated carbon fills, water flows out.
- residual oil below 10 ppm
- 4 sizes for compressors up to 35.5 m³/min
- fills are replaced once a year
Not sure which filtration grades you need? The calculator in industrial filtration puts them together by application, pressure and flow, including condensate drainage.

How to put compressed air treatment together
1. Define the quality
Choose the ISO 8573-1 purity class for the application: three numbers for solid particles, water and oil. A workshop needs 3:4:4, painting 1:4:1 and food in direct contact 1:2:1.
2. Order the grades
A separator or basic filter goes right after the compressor, followed by the dryer and the finer grades. Always place the 0.1 µm fine pre-filter before the 0.01 µm microfilter and activated carbon only after the microfilter.
3. Choose the size
Select the filter and dryer by compressor flow and line pressure. Flows are given at 7 bar; at lower pressure a filter passes less air.
4. Maintain
Replace elements once a year, sooner if the pressure drop rises. Remove condensate with a drain and replace the WOS separator fills once a year.
Frequently asked questions
- What is the difference between a fine pre-filter and a microfilter?
- A fine pre-filter captures particles down to 0.1 µm and oil to 0.1 mg/m³, a microfilter down to 0.01 µm and 0.01 mg/m³. The pre-filter always goes before the microfilter to protect its element.
- How do I find a replacement element for an Omega Air filter?
- The element has the same code as the filter with the letter V at the end: the AAFP-78 filter takes the AAFP-78V element. Most elements are replaced once a year, sooner if the indicator shows a higher pressure drop.
- Which Omega Air dryer should I choose?
- For workshops and most plants an RDS refrigeration dryer with a +3 °C dew point is enough. Very dry air or lines exposed to frost need an ADRY desiccant dryer with a −40 °C dew point. The MADRY membrane dryer needs no electricity and suits small flows right at the machine.
- Where does an activated carbon column go?
- After the dryer and a 0.01 µm microfilter, which captures oil droplets and aerosol. The column then removes oil vapours below 0.003 mg/m³. A 1 µm dust filter goes after it to catch dust from the carbon.
- What is an oil-water separator for?
- Condensate from an oil-lubricated compressor contains oil and must not go into the sewer untreated. The WOS separator captures the oil in its fills and water flows out with less than 10 ppm residual oil. The discharge limit is set by the local sewer regulations.
- Which condensate drains does Omega Air make?
- Manual MCD drains, float AOK drains that work without electricity, timed TD drains up to 420 bar and the electronic AD20. It senses the level with a capacitive sensor and drains condensate without losing air.
