The CHP4B-047 high-pressure coarse filter with a sintered element traps coarse solid contaminants larger than 15 µm and protects the finer stages after it. It has a G 1 1/2" thread, a flow of 8,250 l/min at 7 bar and a working pressure of up to 420 bar.
It belongs to the range of CHP4 high-pressure filters, among the CHP4B coarse filters: the housing is the same for all stages, only the element differs.

Housing and dimensions
The housing is made of ANSI A-105 carbon steel with chemical nickel plating, the fittings and bolts are made of stainless steel 1.4404 and the seals of FKM with a PTFE back-up ring. The air is connected through female pipe threads in the filter head; the condensate leaves through a G 1/4" opening in the bottom.
According to the manufacturer: height A 385 mm, head width B 195 mm, maximum width C 216 mm and from the top edge D 65 mm. Weight 65.9 kg.
Flow by pressure
The flow applies to a pressure of 7 bar and a temperature of +20 °C. At a higher pressure, it is multiplied by the correction factor; from 100 bar it is 12:
