Frequently asked questions

What does the Standard vs Komfort version mean?: Standard = open version without an enclosure. Komfort = machine in a sound-insulating steel enclosure that opens towards the front. The Komfort version achieves significantly lower noise levels and is more suitable for workshops and for locations close to workplaces.
What is the difference between the standard and the Vario version?: The Vario version is equipped with a Danfoss frequency converter that continuously regulates the speed of the screw block and thus the output of the machine according to the current consumption. The main advantage: significant electricity savings by eliminating idle running.
What do the letters K, V, S in the model code mean (e.g. E.50 KVS)?: K = Komfort (steel enclosure), V = air tank (270 l as standard), S = integrated refrigeration dryer for compressed air. Example: E.50 KVS = E.50 in the Komfort version with an air tank and a dryer.
What is ATMOS Care and why do I need it?: ATMOS Care is an add-on electronic unit that monitors the condition of the filter elements and indicates the need for service. If no replacement takes place, the unit modifies the output of the machine so that it can safely keep working — thus protecting it against damage caused by clogged filters.
What is anti-condensation management (ATM) and when should you choose it?: ATM is a system that keeps the compressor permanently warm and separates water vapour from the inside of the machine. It is suitable where the machine runs with short operating times and long downtimes — without ATM there would be a risk of condensate formation and internal corrosion.
