ATMOS SEC 372 is the 37 kW top-of-the-line model of the SEC series featuring the premium ATMOS A 150 block. Delivery 6.3 m³/min at 8 bar (10 bar → 5.4 / 13 bar → 4.5 m³/min). Designed for the largest manufacturing plants with constant high consumption.

- What is the difference between SEC 300 and SEC 302? SEC 302 has a higher output (5.2 vs 4.5 m³/min at 8 bar) for the same 30 kW motor thanks to the new Atmos A 150 screw block (vs B 100 in SEC 300). It also has significantly lower noise levels — 65 dB(A) vs 75 dB(A). SEC 302 is the premium 30 kW version.
- What does Vario mean in the model name? Vario indicates a compressor with a Danfoss VLT frequency converter, which continuously regulates the speed of the screw unit according to current consumption. It eliminates idling and saves 20–30% of electrical energy compared to a fixed-speed machine. Vario versions are ideal for operations with intermittent or variable consumption.
- Can I choose a different working pressure than the standard 8 bar?
- Yes. SEC 220 is available in 8 or 10 bar versions. SEC 221 and all larger models (SEC 300+, SEC 302+, SEC 372+) are available in 8 / 10 / 13 bar variants. At higher pressure, the output in m³/min decreases — see the technical parameters table.
- Do SEC compressors have an integrated air receiver? No. All SEC models (150 to 372) are supplied as free-standing industrial machines. The pressure vessel (air receiver) is an external accessory — available in variants of 270 / 500 / 900 / 1000 l. We recommend sizing the receiver to 4–6× the nominal flow rate per minute to equalize pressure peaks.
- What screw block is in individual models?
- SEC 220 →Atmos AB 240 (slow-speed). SEC 221 and 300 + Vario → Atmos B 100 (high-speed, 4–6 thousand rpm via belt). SEC 302 and 372 + Vario → Atmos A 150 (new premium block with higher performance and lower noise level).
- What is ARCHON? ARCHON is an ATMOS master control system for coordinating 3, 5, or 9 compressors as a single compressed air source. It offers 10 daily programs + 3 control methods (operating hours / fixed priorities / highest efficiency).

A domestic company of world quality
One of the leading companies operating in the field of compressed air not only in the Czech Republic, but also in the world, is the domestic manufacturer ATMOS Chrást s.r.o., which presents itself mainly by the production of screw and piston compressors, screw blocks and motor generators. The roots of the company go back to 1899, when foundries and machine shops were established in the West Bohemian village; during the communist regime, the machine shops belonged to the national company Škoda Plzeň. It was at the end of this era that the company began licensed production of screw blocks and screw compressors, which became very popular over the years due to their reliability. A product offer for everyone
ATMOS is constantly working on new compressors and the characteristics are subject to regular technological research. As a result, the company has already come up with innovative ideas on several occasions, such as when it extremely reduced the noise level of stationary compressors without losing their top performance parameters, thanks to which they have been widely exported abroad. However, in addition to large companies, ATMOS also meets the needs of private customers with smaller workshop machines. Another breakthrough was the creation of the small and compact Albert compressors, whose product range is constantly expanding and are suitable for hobby use. More than 60 of these types are currently in production, with outputs ranging from 3 to 22 kW. The company is the youngest to launch motor generators, filling one of the gaps in the domestic market.
