The 37 kW machine stands on the largest frame in the range — 1,530 × 1,100 × 1,370 mm — yet weighs only 20 kg more than the 30 kW. What you pay is mostly floor area, not weight.
Why 7 bar
At 7 bar it delivers up to 7,400 l/min and regulates down to 1,650, or 22 % of output. That is the widest control range in the whole family — the machine can follow demand that swings five to one during the day.

Dimensions 1,530 × 1,100 × 1,370 mm, weight 850 kg, outlet R 1½" and noise 70 dB(A) are identical at all three settings — it is one and the same machine.
How it differs from its neighbours
Against SCR-30/7EPM that is 1,200 l/min more for 230 mm of extra length. Above it there is only SCR-45/7EPM with 9,500 l/min, which fits the same footprint and adds 40 kg.
What is inside
Permanent magnet motor
Above IE4 level, oil-cooled, IP65 protection and no bearings to grease. On 37 kW it saves five to six percent against an IE2 motor — not once, but every hour.
Direct drive through a taper coupling
No belts, no gearbox. Tensioning and regular replacement disappear — and with them the downtime that would stop the whole workshop on a 37 kW machine.
Frequency inverter
Stepless regulation from 1,650 to 7,400 l/min, down to 22 % of output. It holds pressure to within ±0.1 bar and the start never exceeds the rated current.
Screw airend
A rotor profile developed in Japan and multi-point oil injection. Efficiency up to 16 % better than the previous generation, service life over 100,000 hours.
SCR9000 controller
Touchscreen, weekly schedule and operating log. The protections watch for overload, power failure and phase imbalance — worth having on 37 kW.
What the machine needs in the plant room
The 37 kW jumps to 9,000 m³/h of ventilation — 2,600 more than the 30 kW, while output rises only by a fifth. At this size the plant room ventilation is often a bigger item than the price difference between the machines themselves. The footprint is 1,530 × 1,100 mm.

Above 37 kW it is worth looking at heating too: the heat from the compressor can be recovered and that shortens the payback. We are happy to work it out — service and advice we provide across the country. The overview of the range is in the SCR-EPM range, and above 45 kW the SCR-EPM2 range takes over.
That is five to one. A fixed-speed compressor would only manage that span by blowing the surplus off into the air.
