The ATMOS SEC 372 Vario is the top model in the SEC series — 37 kW motor, Danfoss VLT frequency converter, stepless power regulation from 0 to full capacity. At 8 bar pressure, it achieves a flow rate of 6.3 m³/min (10 bar → 5.4 m³/min, 13 bar → 4.5 m³/min). For the largest industrial enterprises.
The frequency converter handles idle running — a traditional fixed-speed compressor of the same power class consumes 60–70% of its nominal energy while producing no air when demand drops. - What does Vario mean in the model name? Vario indicates a compressor with a Danfoss VLT frequency converter, which continuously regulates the speed of the screw unit according to current consumption. - Can I choose a different working pressure than the standard 8 bar?

- Do SEC compressors have an integrated air receiver? No. All SEC models (150 to 372) are supplied as free-standing industrial machines. The pressure vessel (air receiver) is an external accessory — available in variants of 270 / 500 / 900 / 1000 l. We recommend sizing the receiver to 4–6× the nominal flow rate per minute to equalize pressure peaks.

One of the leading companies operating in the field of compressed air not only in the Czech Republic, but also in the world, is the domestic manufacturer ATMOS Chrást s.r.o., which presents itself mainly by the production of screw and piston compressors, screw blocks and motor generators. ATMOS is constantly working on new compressors and the characteristics are subject to regular technological research. As a result, the company has already come up with innovative ideas on several occasions, such as when it extremely reduced the noise level of stationary compressors without losing their top performance parameters, thanks to which they have been widely exported abroad. However, in addition to large companies, ATMOS also meets the needs of private customers with smaller workshop machines.
