Housing and dimensions

BF filters in cutaway with the elements inside the housing
BF filters in cutaway (illustrative): the elements stand upright in the housing.

The housing is welded from carbon steel and is connected by flanges. Dimensions according to the catalogue sheet: A 2,060 mm, B 1,042 mm, housing diameter øD 711 mm; weight 590 kg.

The elements stand upright in the housing, and the air flows through them from the inside out. This filter holds 16 elements with a diameter of 90 mm and a height of 760 mm.

Flow by pressure

The flow applies to a pressure of 7 bar and a temperature of +20 °C. At a different pressure, it changes according to the correction factor:

Where to place it

Filtration stages in the direction of flow, with stage BFA highlighted
In the direction of flow: 1 coarse B, 2 basic P, 3 dust R, 4 fine pre-filter M, 5 microfilter S, 6 activated carbon A. BFA is highlighted.

It always goes after the BFS microfilter: activated carbon must not work in an oil-saturated environment, and solid particle class 1 only applies with the microfilter.

You will find other sizes among the filters of the same stage.
