What it is for
The element is replaced or cleaned when it is clogged and the filter starts to slow the air flow. You change it after removing the bowl.
It fits the components FWA38, FWA12, FDM38, FDM12, WE38, WE12. The finer 5 µm element is VFK25.
Ventilek’s tip
Bronze can be cleaned. A slightly clogged sintered bronze element can be washed and blown through. If that does not help, replace it.
