Screw compressor WALTER SK 90 KSP power input 90 kW, air delivery 16 m³/min at 8 bar, direct drive, fixed speed, 7-year warranty
Code: SK-90-KSPProduct detailed description
WALTER SK 90 KSP screw compressor with DN 65 connection
SK 90 KSP is the first in the SK KSP range to have a DN 65 connection. It shares the 2,727 × 1,666 × 1,800 mm housing with the 110 and 132 kW models.
At 8 bar it delivers 16 m³/min, at 10 bar 13.7 and at 13 bar 11.6 m³/min. With a weight of 1,795 kg it is the lightest of the three, the SK 110 KSP weighs 2,124 kg and the SK 132 KSP 2,281 kg.
Configuration of this machine
- Screw element coupled directly to the motor · fixed speed without inverter · three-stage oil separation
- Air delivery of 16 m³/min at 8 bar, 13.7 at 10 bar and 11.6 at 13 bar
- Housing shared with SK 110 KSP and SK 132 KSP, weight 1,795 kg
- DN 65 connection, noise level 70 dB(A)
- Power supply 400 V / 3 / 50 Hz, WALTER CONTROLLER control unit

Who it suits
For industrial operation with continuous and steady demand, where the compressor is started at the beginning of the shift and runs without major fluctuations. The weight of 1,795 kg has implications for the design of the compressor room floor.
When to choose a different model
Lower output
One size down is the SK 75 KSP in a smaller housing of 2,158 × 1,331 × 1,600 mm. At 8 bar it delivers 12.7 m³/min and weighs 1,225 kg.
Two-stage compression
With two-stage compression and an inverter, there is the SF 90 DSP: at 8 bar it delivers up to 19.1 m³/min, 19% more, but it weighs 3,300 kg.
What the parameters imply — calculated values
The values are calculated from the maximum air delivery at 8 bar and serve for comparing models with each other, not as a guaranteed value.
Frequently asked questions
- How does the SK 90 KSP differ from the SK 75 KSP?
- The housing is larger (2,727 × 1,666 × 1,800 mm compared to 2,158 × 1,331 × 1,600 mm), the connection changes from G 2″ to DN 65, and the weight increases from 1,225 to 1,795 kg. The power input is higher by 15 kW and the noise level by 2 dB(A).
- How big is the machine?
- Footprint 2,727 × 1,666 mm, height 1,800 mm, and weight 1,795 kg. Space must be left around the housing for servicing and for the supply of cooling air.
The machine is covered by a 7-year warranty on the entire machine. Warranty conditions, maintenance, and a comparison of all 17 models can be found in the category WALTER SK KSP screw compressors: direct drive without losses.
Ventilek advises
The piping to the DN 65 connection is significantly thicker than on smaller machines. It is advisable to account for the piping already during the planning of the compressor room.
