Typical uses
It serves as an air reserve for a compressor with a higher working pressure where a vertical vessel will not fit. Its connections are the same as on the 11-bar version, so the pipework stays the same.
The same volume for 11 bar is VHP270-11, and a larger 16-bar vessel is VHP500-16. The vertical 16-bar version is VVP2-270-16.
How it is made
Ventilek’s tip
Choose a pressure gauge with some headroom. For a 16-bar vessel, a scale up to 25 bar is a good choice, so the needle does not sit at the end stop.
