Typical uses
It serves as the main air reserve downstream of a smaller compressor whose own tank is not enough, or as a buffer vessel at the end of a long air line. It has two of the main side connections, one low and one high on opposite sides of the vessel, so the air goes in through the lower one and out through the upper one. A galvanised version is made alongside the painted one.
For twice the air reserve, there is the vertical VVP2-200-11. The same volume in a horizontal design comes as VHP100-11. The fittings for this size come as the kit KVP100-11.

Small vessel, same rules. Under Czech regulations, even a 100-litre vessel counts as designated pressure equipment, so it needs the same inspections as the large ones.
