Typical uses

It serves as the central air receiver for production with several compressors, or as a buffer reservoir for large peaks in demand. Its 3" side connections are at two heights on both sides.

A smaller option is VVP4000-12, and a larger one is VVP6000-12. The 16-bar version is VVP5000-16, and a wider, lower 8-bar vessel is VVP5000-8.

How it is made

Automatic welder making a circumferential seam on a pressure vessel shell
Automatic circumferential welding of the shell

Ventilek’s tip

Inlet at the bottom, outlet at the top. Feed the air in through the lower side connection and draw it off through the upper one on the opposite side. The condensate then settles at the bottom and does not get into the air network.
