Typical uses

It serves where the compressor’s own tank cannot cope with a short, heavy burst of demand, or as a reservoir at the end of a long air network where the pressure drops when air is drawn. The 3/4" ball valves on opposite sides of the shell let you connect the vessel to the air network and also isolate it without draining the whole network.

The same vessel without fittings is VVP2-100-11, and a larger fully equipped one is VVP2-200-11A. The fittings alone come as the kit for the painted vessel, KVP100-11.

How it is made

Automatic welder making a circumferential seam on a pressure vessel shell
Automatic circumferential welding of the shell
Worker grinding a socket weld on the shell of a pressure vessel
Finishing a socket weld
Pressure vessels suspended on the paint line with a manipulator
Paint line
Galvanised pressure vessels stacked on wooden spacers
Galvanised vessels ready for dispatch

Ventilek’s tip

Air in at the bottom, out at the top. The lower ball valve is for the inlet from the compressor, the upper one for the air network. The condensate then stays at the bottom, and you drain it through the condensate drain valve.
