BFHPP flanged basic filters up to 25 bar
BFHPP flanged basic filters up to 25 bar trap solid contaminants larger than 3 µm and protect the finer stages after them. They belong to the range of Omega Air BFHP flanged filters up to 25 bar: the welded carbon steel housing is the same for all stages, and the element determines the stage.
10 sizes with DN80 to DN300 flanges, flow of 1,680 to 31,400 Nm³/h at 7 bar and 1 to 20 elements. Working pressure up to 25 bar, temperature +1.5 to +65 °C. Supplied as a filter housing with elements, without a condensate drain.

The flows apply to a pressure of 7 bar and a temperature of +20 °C. All sizes use the same element; only the number of elements in the filter differs. You will find the dimensions on the product page of each filter.

When to use it
The basic filter is a 3 µm pre-filter for solid contaminants: the air meets solid particle class 6 according to ISO 8573-1. The pressure drop of a new element is 10 mbar, the lowest in the range.
The basic filter does not determine residual oil — for oil, there are the fine pre-filter M and the microfilter S.
Where to place it
After the BFHPB coarse filter or directly at the start of the filtration, before the BFHPR dust filter or BFHPM fine pre-filter.
Element, replacement and drain
Element BFP-0240V: acrylic fibres and cellulose, pressure drop of a new element 10 mbar. Replace the elements once a year, or earlier when the pressure drop reaches 350 mbar. The pressure drop is shown by the MDHI 50 differential pressure gauge.
The condensate drain is ordered separately — for this range, the manufacturer lists the TD 50M timed drain and the AOK 50B float drain. Elements for all stages are among the BFHP spare elements.
Flow at a different pressure
The flows in the tables apply to a pressure of 7 bar and a temperature of +20 °C. At a different pressure, multiply the flow by the manufacturer’s correction factor:
