SPFR stainless steel dust filters up to 14 bar
The SPFR dust filter has a pleated element of borosilicate microfibres and traps solid particles and dust larger than 1 µm — solid particle class 3 according to ISO 8573-1. The element withstands +120 °C.
The SPFR filter comes in 12 sizes (G 1/4" to 3") with flows of 1,250 to 60,000 l/min at 7 bar; working pressure up to 14 bar. It is one of the twelve stages of the SPF filters — the housing is the same for all stages, only the element differs.
SPFR filters by size
The size determines the connection and the flow. Each size has its own PF range spare element.

When to use it
The dust filter R is suitable where the air must be free of dust and fine solid particles but oil is not a problem. The manufacturer does not state an oil class for it — oil aerosol is handled by the fine pre-filter M.
Like the fine pre-filter and the microfilter, the element is made of borosilicate microfibres and withstands +120 °C.
Where to place it
After the SPFP fibre pre-filter or the SPFN5 basic filter, before the SPFM fine pre-filter.
Flow by pressure
The catalogue flows apply to a pressure of 7 bar and a temperature of +20 °C. At a different pressure, they are multiplied by the correction factor: 1.88 at 14 bar.

Element and maintenance
A PF range element is fitted in the housing — for example, the PFR-010V for the SPFR-010. The same element also fits the PF, HPF, WFIT, WFIF, WFIW and WHFIT process filters of the same size. The working temperature of the element is +1.5 to +120 °C.
The filter is supplied with an element, without a condensate drain. You will find all elements among the PF range spare elements.
Replace the element at least once every 12 months. Once a year, also check the housing for visible damage.
The same stage in other ranges
Stage R also comes in process filters: PFR up to 14 bar, HPFR up to 50 bar, WFITR up to 14 bar, WFIFR up to 14 bar, WFIWR up to 14 bar and WHFITR up to 50 bar. The elements are the same for all ranges.

Dust, or oil too? The class 3 dust filter R traps dust down to 1 µm. If oil aerosol is also a problem, add a fine pre-filter M after it.
