Screw compressor ATMOS Albert E.50 KV
Code: E.50KVProduct detailed description
Screw compressor ATMOS Albert E.50 KV
ATMOS Albert E.50 KV is a universal 5.5 kW screw compressor in the Komfort version — noise-reducing steel body + 270 l horizontal air receiver + LOGIK 26-S microprocessor control. The slow-running B100 block (1 455 min⁻¹) directly connected to a 4-pole motor ensures long service life and quiet operation of 64 dB(A) thanks to the body.
Working pressure 9 bar, delivery 870 l/min (0.87 m³/min) — the compressor typically serves a craft workshop with 4–6 pneumatic workstations simultaneously or a small production hall. Due to the combination of the slow-running block (longer service life) and the enclosure (installation in a standard workshop, not a plant room), this version is the most frequently chosen in this power class.
Configuration E.50 KV
Specifically, this variant consists of:
Main features
Design and features of E.50 KV
The Comfort enclosure opens forward on two hinges — complete service access to all components within 30 seconds without tools. Inside the enclosure is an oil fill of 6 l, B100 injection block, 5.5 kW motor (IP 55-F, 11 A) and coolers for both compressed air and oil. A 270 l horizontal air receiver with an automatic condensate drain is positioned outside the housing.

Design and noise levels — 64 dB(A)
The noise level of 64 dB(A) is well below the industrial standard — the compressor can be installed directly in the workshop between workbenches, without the need for a separate plant room. The housing protects internal components from dust and mechanical damage and reduces disruptive noise for the operator. Cooling air inlet at the front, outlet at the rear — install at least 50 cm from the wall.
270 l pressure vessel
The 270 l air receiver in a horizontal layout is a standard solution for operations with 3–6 parallel workstations. For operations with higher peak demands (pneumatic pressing, large wrenches), the manufacturer offers an optional 500 l version. The air receiver is equipped with a safety valve (10 bar), a pressure gauge, an automatic condensate drain, and a ball valve.

Who is the E.50 KV suitable for

The E.50 KV is the best-selling variant in the series — it is purchased by medium-sized craft workshops and car services with 4–8 workstations, who appreciate the quiet operation (installation in the workshop, not in the cellar), the dust-protecting housing, and LOGIK 26-S for planning service intervals. Typical customer: metal production with 5–10 employees, car service with a lift + tyre service, maintenance companies.
Typical applications
- Metal production 5–10 people — pneumatic drills, wrenches, grinders, pressing
- Car services with pneumatic wrenches and inflation stations
- Locksmith operations with pneumatic riveters and punchers
- Pneumatic conveyors for small parts (assembly lines)
- Pressure tests and calibration (laboratories, production of pneumatic components)
- Universal industrial operation with medium consumption (up to 6 m³/h)
- Woodworking companies — pneumatic staplers, nailers, blow-off
7-year UNLIMITED warranty — unique in the Czech Republic
"We simply trust our machines! The best way to express confidence in the quality of our machines is to provide a SEVEN-YEAR UNLIMITED WARRANTY."
- No flat-rate payments
- No service contracts
- 7 years worry-free
- 7 years of operational certainty
- Online management via the ATMOS Plus app
Machine control — LOGIK 26-S

The LOGIK 26-S microprocessor unit replaces the simple pressure switch in higher models of the series — the compressor is controlled via a structured menu on the front of the body. Activity logs (50 days of history), an operating hours counter, service interval planning (ATMOS Care), and optional remote management via the ATMOS Plus app are available.
- Operating hours monitoring for each compressor
- Communication station control
- Activity and fault logs
- Up to 50 days of records for each day and week
- Master/Slave mode for 2 compressors
- Data transfer via RS 485 - Modbus bus
Optional remote compressor management via internet (ATMOS Plus app) — monitoring, alerts and remote parameter setting.

Frequently asked questions
- What does the Standard vs Komfort version mean?
- Standard = open version without a housing. Komfort = machine in a soundproof steel housing that opens forward. The Komfort version achieves significantly lower noise levels and is more suitable for workshops and proximity to workplaces.
- What is the difference between the standard and Vario versions?
- The Vario version is equipped with a Danfoss frequency converter, which smoothly regulates the speed of the screw block and thus the machine performance according to current consumption. Main advantage: significant electrical energy savings by eliminating idling.
- What do the letters K, V, S in the model code mean (e.g. E.50 KVS)?
- K = Komfort (steel housing), V = air receiver (270 l standard), S = integrated condensing compressed air dryer. Example: E.50 KVS = E.50 in Komfort version with air receiver and dryer.
- What is ATMOS Care and why do I need it?
- ATMOS Care is an additional electronic unit that monitors the condition of filter elements and indicates when service is required. If replacement does not occur, the unit modifies the machine's performance so that it can continue to operate safely — thus protecting against damage caused by clogged filters.
- What is anti-condensation management (ATM) and when should it be chosen?
- ATM is a system that keeps the compressor permanently heated and removes water vapour from the inside of the machine. It is suitable for machines with short operating times and long periods of inactivity — without ATM, there is a risk of condensate formation and internal corrosion.
