    Compressors with horizontal tank

    The pressure tank, or air receiver, takes up the most space on a compressor, especially in larger volumes. Add an air dryer and, say, a multi-cylinder machine, and you have equipment with real placement demands. Horizontal tanks therefore represent the classic and above all stable arrangement; they are also used on mobile compressors with wheels.
