The L30PN-2.2-90CM has a ninety-litre tank, so a spray gun or a random orbital sander runs for minutes at a stretch and the L30P unit with 310 l/min seldom cuts in. Sixty-three kilos on two wheels, 1.2 m long — a machine with a permanent spot in the workshop that will still wheel out to the car.
When ninety litres makes sense on a single cylinder
Tools with a continuous draw — a gun, a sander, longer blowing off — empty a small tank in seconds, and a single cylinder then runs without a pause. Ninety litres turns that around: the tool draws on the reserve, the motor tops up in cycles and cools down in between, as it should. If half the reserve is enough and you want to save twenty-six kilos, take the L30PN-2.2-50CM. If you want a ninety that runs all day, go for the low-speed V30 range. All six versions are on the L25P and L30P range page; ninety-litre machines from other brands are among compressors with a 90 l tank. For smooth sanding, add a random orbital sander.
Values apply to a 230 V / 50 Hz supply. The noise figure is the sound power level Lwa; at 4 m from the machine it is roughly 20 dB less. The machine is built for intermittent duty, not for continuous operation.
