The V30-2.2-90CM has a ninety-litre horizontal tank, so a spray gun or a random orbital sander runs smoothly and the low-speed pump at 1,450 rpm seldom cuts in and never overheats. It gives 330 l/min and 10 bar from an ordinary socket and weighs 72 kg on two rubber-tyred wheels and a swivel castor — a machine with a permanent spot in the workshop that will still wheel out to the car.
When ninety litres makes sense
The tank does not add output, but it extends the time a tool with a continuous draw gets full pressure before the switch starts the motor. With a spray gun that means an even coat with no waiting, with a sander a steady speed. The motor cuts in less often, so the start-ups add up more slowly and the pump cools down in between.
