Non-silenced piston and screw compressors
A compressor without sound insulation is really the classic – the standard version of most compressors. A piston or screw compressor without special enclosures and silencers has its place wherever no operator works nearby who would be disturbed by the noise. The ideal position is a dedicated compressor room from which air lines run to the individual workstations.
