- It does not. The number after the hyphen is the motor power in horsepower — 3 HP corresponds to a power input of 2.2 kW. The number 430 before it is the approximate intake in litres per minute (actually 420), and the 50 after the slash is the tank volume in litres. The full code is therefore read as a WALTER compressor, intake 420 l/min, motor 3 HP, tank 50 l.
- How long does it take to fill the 50 l tank?
- The calculation gives approximately 1.5 minutes from zero to 10 bar without air consumption — the fastest filling time among all WALTER tank models. In normal operation, however, the tank is only topped up by 2 bar from the cut-in to the cut-out pressure, which is achieved during a single use of a stapler.
- Can this compressor handle an impact wrench?
- For individual fasteners, yes.
