The five-litre pack of genuine WALTER WKTT oil. Unlike the one-litre bottle this is a pack for a full change — even on the largest pump, the GK1400 with three litres. Mineral base with additives against oxidation and foaming.
When the bigger pack pays off
What decides is whether you use it up. A change on a GK630 or GK880 takes 2 l, on a GK1400 3 l — the rest lasts for topping up until the next change. On the smallest GK420 (1.2 l) the canister would stay open too long.
If you have several WALTER machines in the workshop, the canister is the obvious choice — one pack serves them all and you do not have to keep track of how many bottles are left where.
What the manufacturer states

- Resealable pack, once opened it can be used for topping up over time.

How it differs from its siblings
The one-litre pack of the same oil is WK1-OIL and suits topping up better. Machines of other makes take ATM-OIL, BWL-1 and the Altair range for ABAC.

Close an opened canister properly. Oil that spent the winter drawing damp out of the workshop does not belong in a compressor.
Technical data follow the supplier’s datasheet and the manufacturer’s documentation. The change interval applies at normal temperature and humidity and in a dust-free environment. Oil is drained warm, with the machine shut down and depressurised.
