A29BT-2,2-50CT is Extensive: unit A29B with a 2.2 kW motor at 400 V and a 50 l air receiver — intake 320 l/min at 1,300 rpm, 10 bar, 54 kg. A fifty-litre tank that refills faster than with the weaker motor, so tools wait less time; for a workshop with a three-phase socket where there's no room for a larger tank.
Why a fifty-litre with 2.2 kW instead of 1.5 kW
The tank is the same, the motor stronger: the unit runs at 1,300 rpm instead of 1,075 and draws in 320 l/min instead of 255. After a draw-down, the fifty-litre refills noticeably sooner, so an impact wrench or ratchet doesn't wait as long for pressure — and the motor spends less time running for the same work. The cost is higher noise, 95 dB Lwa, 75 dB at 4 m, and two kilograms more. Extensive means one front swivel castor with brake and an open handle; the three-phase supply must be connected by a qualified electrician.
