The V36-2.2-50CM is a twin-cylinder direct-drive compressor that pulls 355 l/min displacement and 277 l/min FAD at 10 bar out of a 230 V supply — the most air from single-phase in the whole ABAC Line range. The 50-litre horizontal tank sits on two rubber-tyred wheels; the machine weighs 42 kg and has a tubular handle and a lifting eye on the tank for a two-person lift. Pressure switch, regulator and two gauges are fitted as standard.
What two cylinders do for you
The V36 pump has two finned cylinders in a V with 47 mm pistons, each with its own intake filter, and sits directly on the motor shaft — no belt and nothing to tension. At 2,850 rpm it draws in 355 l/min, roughly 15% more than a single-cylinder pump on the same 2.2 kW motor. In practice that means the impact wrench hits just as hard on the tenth nut in a row and the nailer is not waiting for the tank to rebuild pressure. The 50 l tank evens out the bursts and the switch cuts out at 10 bar; the machine is built for intermittent duty S3 50%, meaning at most five minutes in every ten.
