50 l · 10 bar · 33 kgFifty litres of reserve — the most you get in the L20N range. The L20N-1.5-50CM has a fifty-litre tank and still weighs only 33 kg: a tyre inflator on all four wheels, blowing off a whole engine or a long run with the nailer can all draw on it without the motor cutting in straight away, and the 1.5 kW pump from an ordinary socket tops it up to 10 bar at its leisure between jobs. At home it stands by the bench and wheels out to the car.
When fifty litres makes sense with 1.5 kW
The tank does not add displacement, but it gives the pump time: from fifty litres a tyre inflator tops up all four wheels and a blow gun cleans a whole engine before the pressure drops to the switch threshold. The L20 pump then gets a longer cycle and a longer pause — exactly what a 1.5 kW single cylinder needs. The price is a machine 77 cm long that weighs 33 kg; round the workshop it goes by the handle, into the car with two of you. If you want an impact wrench or a spray gun on those fifty litres as well, you need a stronger pump.

Where next if the L20N-1.5-50CM is not the right fit
If half the reserve will do and you want to save eight kilos, take the L20N-1.5-24CM. If you want a fifty for an impact wrench and small spraying jobs, move up to a stronger pump: the L25P-1.8-50CM, or straight to the two-cylinder V36. How it differs from the six and the twenty-four is on the L20N range page; if you are after a fifty regardless of brand, choose among compressors with a 50 l tank.
Values apply to a 230 V / 50 Hz supply. The noise figure is the sound power level, 95 dB Lwa; at 4 m from the machine that is roughly 75 dB. The machine is built for intermittent duty S3 30%, not for continuous operation.

Fifty litres gives a 1.5 kW single cylinder long pauses between cycles — enough for inflating and blowing off, as long as you do not ask it to sand.
