Product detailed description
Expert · 150 l · 400 V · 553 l/min · 11 barThree kilowatts with 150 l — and just 78 kg. On the A49BP-3-150CT a three-phase 3 kW motor turns the two-stage A49B pump at 1,300 rpm — 553 l/min, 11 bar, a 150 l tank. For a workshop where a sander and a gun draw air in longer bursts and the machine moves between workstations.
Why 3 kW with 150 l
A displacement of 553 l/min in two stages tops the 150 l up to 11 bar so quickly that a sander or a gun with a longer draw never waits, and the tank still holds a reserve for an impact wrench. And at 78 kg (the same as the 150 with 2.2 kW) it is wheeled effortlessly on two front castors with brakes and the handle — a machine for those who want the air of 3 kW and do not want to drag a 200 around. On the tank neck sits a filter-regulator with a gauge and two quick couplings — the air reaches the gun free of condensate. Three kilowatts mean 96 dB Lwa, 76 dB at 4 m.

Where next if the A49BP-3-150CT is not the right fit
A bigger reserve with the same motor is held by the A49BP-3-200CT; the same tank with a 2.2 kW motor is the A49BP-2.2-150CT. The siblings from the ninety to the 270 l are shown on the A49B range page; 150-litre machines of other brands are grouped together under compressors with a 150 l tank. If you spray with it, the filter-regulator feeds a spray gun.
Values apply to a 50 Hz supply. Air intake is the amount of air the pump draws in; how much of it reaches the tool depends on the pressure and the tank. Noise is given as the sound power level Lwa and the sound pressure at 4 m from the machine. A piston compressor works in cycles (topping up the tank and pausing), not continuously.
Ventilek advises
Three kilowatts and 78 kg: 553 l/min and 150 l at 11 bar for a machine that is wheeled about.

The company ABAC has been one of the most important manufacturers of piston compressors on the world market since its establishment in 1980 . Currently, the brand ABAC is owned by ATLAS COPCO, the largest compressor manufacturer in the world and is part of the multinational group PAD (Professional Air Division). The goal of the ABAC brand is to become a world leader in the development, production and sale of piston compressors.

Production at company ABAC
ABAC compressors are manufactured in 5 production centers around the world, with an annual production of almost 2 million compressors. The brand's parent plant ABAC in Turin, Italy employs around 250 employees and is primarily focused on the design and production of professional V-belt compressors with a daily production capacity of over 600 machines. The ABAC plant also has extensive warehouse facilities with several thousand compressors available for immediate delivery.

Innovative concept
ABAC does not only mean compressor production. We are directly involved in the development of key innovations and advanced solutions and set trends in the compressor market. The efforts of our designers have resulted in, for example, an aerodynamic pulley housing for temperature reduction of up to 35°C, the revolutionary XPAND hose reel compressor or the PRO LINE ZERO oil-free compressors with V-belts. In the ABAC program you will always find the most modern and unique solution for compressed air production on the market.

A modern solution
We are a modern company that is aware of the current trends around us. We are bringing advanced technologies to the compressor industry, such as the use of QR codes and the AIR TUBE app to make it easier for the user of our compressor to access the information they need. We use social media, chat and multimedia instead of traditional marketing and documentation formats. With compressors ABAC you will always have convenient access to all the necessary information.

Compressor program
In the supplier program of the ABAC brand you will find 100%. The basic range includes 100% from small portable compressors for home applications to larger stationary compressors for permanent deployment.
