The A49BP-4-270CT: the two-stage A49B pump, a 4 kW motor on 400 V, a 270 l tank, a handle and two quick couplings — 595 l/min at 1,400 rpm, 11 bar, 145 kg. For a paint shop, a sandblasting gun and a workshop where two people draw air at once and the machine should be on castors.
Why 4 kW with 270 l in the Expert spec
The same pump, motor and tank as on the Extensive A49BT-4-270CT — 595 l/min in two stages into 270 l at 11 bar — but with two front swivel castors with brakes, a closed handle with a rubber grip and a filter-regulator with two quick couplings on the tank neck. It pays off where the 145 kg does get moved now and then and where two hoses are to run from one machine: a sandblasting gun and blowing off, or two people with sanders. If you need more than 595 l/min, you move up to the bigger two-stage pumps. The noise is the same as on the Extensive with 4 kW: 97 dB Lwa, 77 dB at 4 m.

Where next if the A49BP-4-270CT is not the right fit
The same motor and tank with an open handle instead of the closed one and with one front castor is the A49BT-4-270CT; the same motor on a shorter tank is the A49BP-4-200CT. The top of the range is set against the other thirteen on the A49B range page; if you need more than 595 l/min, you will find it in the B59–B70 range. The two quick couplings are there for two spiral hoses.
Values apply to a 50 Hz supply. Air intake is the amount of air the pump draws in; how much of it reaches the tool depends on the pressure and the tank. Noise is given as the sound power level Lwa and the sound pressure at 4 m from the machine. A piston compressor works in cycles (topping up the tank and pausing), not continuously.
