The A49BP-2.2-200CT combines a three-phase 2.2 kW motor, the two-stage A49B pump and a 200 l tank — 444 l/min at 1,050 rpm, 11 bar, 130 kg. For a workshop with 400 V that wants a big reserve of air and does not need a bigger motor for it.
Why 2.2 kW on 400 V with a 200 l tank
If you draw air in bursts — an impact wrench, a stapler, blowing off, now and then a sander — you need reserve, not displacement: from 200 l at 11 bar you take several bursts before the 2.2 kW motor cuts in, and a three-phase start is easier on the breaker than a single-phase one. The A49B pump gives 444 l/min in two stages and the aftercooler leaves the condensate in the tank. On the tank neck sits a filter-regulator with a gauge and two quick couplings; at 130 kg the front castors with brakes and the handle are there to hold it in place rather than to wheel it about. If you want more air with the same tank, there is 3 kW or 4 kW. The 2.2 kW motor gives 93 dB Lwa, 73 dB at 4 m.
