Product detailed description
Expert · 200 l · 400 V · 553 l/min · 11 barThe middle of the range: 3 kW, 200 l and 121 kg. The two-stage A49B pump, a three-phase 3 kW motor to drive it and a 200 l tank beneath — the A49BP-3-200CT gives 553 l/min at 1,300 rpm, 11 bar. For a workshop or a garage with 400 V, where two people draw air or one gun sprays for a long stretch.
Why 3 kW with 200 l
Three kilowatts and the 200: 553 l/min in two stages and 200 l at 11 bar cover a spray gun, a random orbital sander or two people with an impact wrench and a blow gun at once — and the two quick couplings on the tank neck give each of them their own hose. At 121 kg the machine is lighter than the 200s with the 2.2 kW motor, and two front castors with brakes and the handle wheel it around the workshop. If 553 l/min is not enough for several people, there is 4 kW with the same tank. The noise of the 200 with 3 kW: 96 dB Lwa, 76 dB at 4 m.

Where next if the A49BP-3-200CT is not the right fit
More air into the same tank comes from the A49BP-4-200CT; the same motor with the biggest tank is the A49BP-3-270CT. How it differs from the other three 200s is shown on the A49B range page; 200-litre machines of other brands are compared among compressors with a 200 l tank. The two quick couplings go well with two spiral hoses.
Values apply to a 50 Hz supply. Air intake is the amount of air the pump draws in; how much of it reaches the tool depends on the pressure and the tank. Noise is given as the sound power level Lwa and the sound pressure at 4 m from the machine. A piston compressor works in cycles (topping up the tank and pausing), not continuously.
Ventilek advises
Three kilowatts with 200 l: two people with tools, or one gun running non-stop — and 121 kg to wheel about.

The company ABAC has been one of the most important manufacturers of piston compressors on the world market since its establishment in 1980 . Currently, the brand ABAC is owned by ATLAS COPCO, the largest compressor manufacturer in the world and is part of the multinational group PAD (Professional Air Division). The goal of the ABAC brand is to become a world leader in the development, production and sale of piston compressors.

Production at company ABAC
ABAC compressors are manufactured in 5 production centers around the world, with an annual production of almost 2 million compressors. The brand's parent plant ABAC in Turin, Italy employs around 250 employees and is primarily focused on the design and production of professional V-belt compressors with a daily production capacity of over 600 machines. The ABAC plant also has extensive warehouse facilities with several thousand compressors available for immediate delivery.

Innovative concept
ABAC does not only mean compressor production. We are directly involved in the development of key innovations and advanced solutions and set trends in the compressor market. The efforts of our designers have resulted in, for example, an aerodynamic pulley housing for temperature reduction of up to 35°C, the revolutionary XPAND hose reel compressor or the PRO LINE ZERO oil-free compressors with V-belts. In the ABAC program you will always find the most modern and unique solution for compressed air production on the market.

A modern solution
We are a modern company that is aware of the current trends around us. We are bringing advanced technologies to the compressor industry, such as the use of QR codes and the AIR TUBE app to make it easier for the user of our compressor to access the information they need. We use social media, chat and multimedia instead of traditional marketing and documentation formats. With compressors ABAC you will always have convenient access to all the necessary information.

Compressor program
In the supplier program of the ABAC brand you will find 100%. The basic range includes 100% from small portable compressors for home applications to larger stationary compressors for permanent deployment.
