SPFI1 sintered stainless steel pre-filters up to 14 bar
The SPFI1 sintered pre-filter has an element made of sintered stainless steel 1.4404 and traps solid particles larger than 1 µm. The element is made entirely of stainless steel and, like the housing, withstands up to +150 °C.
The SPFI1 filter comes in 12 sizes (G 1/4" to 3") with flows of 1,250 to 60,000 l/min at 7 bar; working pressure up to 14 bar. It is one of the stages of the SPF filters — the housing is the same for all stages, only the element differs.
SPFI1 filters by size
The size determines the connection and the flow. Each size has its own PF range spare element.

When to use it
The sintered pre-filter is suitable where the air is warmer: the stainless steel element withstands up to +150 °C, microfibre elements only +120 °C. It does not trap oil; the manufacturer does not state an ISO 8573-1 class for it.
Where to place it
After the SPFN5 basic filter, before the SPFM fine pre-filter.
Flow by pressure
The catalogue flows apply to a pressure of 7 bar and a temperature of +20 °C. At a different pressure, they are multiplied by the correction factor: 1.88 at 14 bar.

Element and maintenance
A PF range element is fitted in the housing — for example, the PFI1-010V for the SPFI1-010. The same element also fits the PF, WFIT and WFIF process filters of the same size. The working temperature of the element is +1.5 to +150 °C.
The filter is supplied with an element, without a condensate drain. You will find all elements among the PF range spare elements.
Replace the element at least once every 12 months. Once a year, also check the housing for visible damage.
The same stage in other ranges
Stage I1 also comes in process filters: PFI1 up to 14 bar, WFITI1 up to 14 bar and WFIFI1 up to 14 bar. The elements are the same for all ranges.

Stainless steel up to +150 °C. The sintered element is made of stainless steel 1.4404 and withstands the same temperature as the housing. For oil aerosol, a fine pre-filter M goes after it.
