Sixty-three kilowatts at eight bar delivers 13,000 l/min. It is the last machine in the range with a DN 50 outlet — above it the pipework has to be sized for DN 65 and larger.
Why 8 bar
Eight bar means 13,000 l/min against 14,000 at seven. One bar therefore costs about seven percent of the air here, plus seven percent of the consumption. Regulation goes down to 3,600 l/min.

The dimensions of 1,900 × 1,350 × 1,650 mm, weight of 1,650 kg, DN 50 outlet and noise level of 76 dB(A) are identical across all three settings — it is one and the same machine.
How it differs from its neighbours
Below it sits the SCR-55/8EPM2 with 11,500 l/min in the same frame, above it the SCR-75/8EPM2 with 16,000 l/min in a larger one. The step from the 63 to the 75 kW is the biggest jump in what the compressor room has to provide anywhere in the lower part of the range.
What is inside
Permanent magnet motor
Permanent magnets, IP65 protection and no bearings to grease. On 63 kW the difference against an IE2 motor is five to six percent of consumption — and the machine runs constantly.
Direct drive through a taper coupling
A taper coupling joins motor and airend — no belt to slip and eat into 13,000 l/min. One maintenance item that simply is not there.
Frequency inverter
The band from 3,600 to 13,000 l/min is covered without shutting down — the machine comes down to 28 % of output. The soft start puts no more load on the supply than normal running.
New-generation airend
The new airend raises efficiency by up to 16 %. On 63 kW in continuous operation that is the single largest saving after the inverter. Engineered for 20 years.
SCR9000 controller
It shares a cascade of up to sixteen machines out on its own. On a machine needing 15,600 m³/h of ventilation the installation is usually several units — and the control system is not rebuilt when it grows.
What the machine needs in the compressor room
A DN 50 outlet and 780 m³/h means the pipework must not start any smaller. Undersized pipe is the most common reason the saving from an inverter never shows up in practice — the pressure drop forces the machine to run at a higher pressure than the far end actually needs.

If demand swings between shifts, a pair of smaller machines usually beats one large one — the controller sequences them itself, up to sixteen units, as described in the SCR-EPM2 range. Smaller outputs are covered by the SCR-EPM range.
If you are torn between the 63 and the 75 kW, factor in that the larger machine will demand different pipework. That usually costs more than the difference in price.
