Seventy-five kilowatts at eight bar delivers 16,000 l/min — only 300 less than at seven. The gap between those two settings is the smallest anywhere in the lower half of the range in this class.
Why 8 bar
Three hundred litres a minute is barely two percent of output. That extra bar meanwhile costs around seven percent of the energy — on a 75 kW machine running continuously that is tens of thousands a year. Choose eight bar only when the pipework needs it.

The dimensions of 2,280 × 1,500 × 1,950 mm, weight of 2,010 kg, DN 65 outlet and noise level of 78 dB(A) are identical across all three settings — it is one and the same machine.
How it differs from its neighbours
The same frame also carries the SCR-90/8EPM2, which gives 3,000 l/min more and weighs only 40 kg more. Below the 75 kW is the SCR-63/8EPM2 with 13,000 l/min, but already with a DN 50 outlet.
What is inside
Permanent magnet motor
Permanent magnets, IP65 protection and no bearings to grease. On 75 kW the difference against an IE2 motor is five to six percent of consumption — and the machine runs constantly.
Direct drive through a taper coupling
A taper coupling joins motor and airend — no belt to slip and eat into 16,000 l/min. One maintenance item that simply is not there.
Frequency inverter
The band from 3,600 to 16,000 l/min is covered without shutting down — the machine comes down to 23 % of output. The soft start puts no more load on the supply than normal running.
New-generation airend
The new airend raises efficiency by up to 16 %. On 75 kW in continuous operation that is the single largest saving after the inverter. Engineered for 20 years.
SCR9000 controller
It shares a cascade of up to sixteen machines out on its own. On a machine needing 17,500 m³/h of ventilation the installation is usually several units — and the control system is not rebuilt when it grows.
What the machine needs in the compressor room
Two thousand and ten kilograms and a height of 1,950 mm means the machine will not go under a low ceiling or through ordinary doors without some thought. The noise level has risen to 78 dB(A) — that assumes a room of its own rather than a corner of the hall.

Barely two percent of the air for seven percent of the consumption. This is one place where buying that extra bar "just in case" really does not pay.
