Typical uses
It serves as the main air receiver downstream of a compressor rated at 13 or 15 bar, in an operation where the ceiling does not allow a taller vessel. The large reserve evens out peaks in demand even at a higher pressure in the air network.
A smaller 16-bar vessel is VVP1000-16, and a larger one is VVP2000-16. The same size for 12 bar is VVP1500-12.
How it is made

Heavy vessel, solid floor. Over four hundred kilograms rest on three foot plates, and the floor must carry the concentrated load. Vibration dampers belong under the foot plates.
