Typical uses
It is suitable for screw compressors with a higher working pressure, for example on long air networks with a large pressure drop or for machines that need more than 11 bar. It comes in painted, galvanised and ALM-coated versions; the galvanised one has its bottom connection 5 mm higher.
The 12-bar version with the same dimensions is VVP1000-12, and a larger 16-bar vessel is VVP1500-16. You can choose a safety valve for the higher pressure from our range of HEROSE safety valves.
How it is made
Ventilek’s tip
The 12-bar fittings kit does not belong here. Its safety valve opens at 10.5 bar, and with a 15-bar compressor it would blow off every time the compressor pumps up to pressure.
