Typical uses

It is suitable as the main air receiver downstream of a compressor rated at 13 or 15 bar in production with a high air demand. The slim design takes up less floor space but needs a taller room. It comes in painted, galvanised and ALM-coated versions.

A smaller 16-bar vessel is VVP1500-16, and a larger one is VVP3000-16. The same volume for 12 bar is VVP2000-12, and the horizontal 16-bar version is VHP2000-16.

How it is made

Automatic welder making a circumferential seam on a pressure vessel shell

Ventilek’s tip

Air temperature no higher than 50 °C. That is what the vessel is designed for. With a compressor that has no aftercooler, install the vessel downstream of a cooler.
