Typical uses

It serves as the main air receiver in production with a larger screw compressor or with several compressors on a shared air network. The large volume keeps the pressure stable even when several consumers draw air at once. It comes in painted, galvanised and ALM-coated versions.

A smaller option is VVP2-500-11, and the same volume in a horizontal design is VHP720-11. Even larger volumes are covered by the large Baglioni vessels, and the matching fittings come as KVP720-11.

How it is made

Automatic welder making a circumferential seam on a pressure vessel shell
Automatic circumferential welding of the shell
Worker grinding a socket weld on the shell of a horizontal pressure vessel
Finishing a socket weld
Pressure vessels suspended on the paint line with a manipulator

Ventilek’s tip

Big vessel, lots of condensate. Manual draining is easily neglected; an automatic condensate drain on the bottom connection takes care of it by itself.
