Clean Air CLR · canopy · 30 lA machine that may stand in the surgery. The CLR-1,1-30MS has the oil-free pump and the thirty-litre receiver enclosed in an acoustic canopy, so it runs at 64 dB(A) at one metre — against 71 dB(A) for the open version. The output stays at 125 l/min at 5 bar for one to two chairs.
When the canopy pays off
When the machine has nowhere to go but the room where people work. A difference of seven decibels is substantial in practice — we perceive noise logarithmically, so seven decibels down is roughly half the loudness.
You pay in weight: 68 kg against 31 kg for the open twenty-five-litre model. The canopy also has its own footprint of 650 × 440 mm and is not as easy to reach into as an open machine.

Machine detail
The pump and the thirty-litre receiver are enclosed in an acoustic canopy. That is why the machine runs at 64 dB(A) instead of 71 to 74 — and why it weighs some thirty kilos more than the open version.
Where to go if the CLR-1,1-30MS does not fit
