Clean Air CLR · oil-free · 25 lThe basic machine for a small surgery. The CLR-1,1-25M compresses completely without oil, delivers 125 l/min at 5 bar and per the manufacturer serves one to two chairs. The receiver holds 25 l and is epoxy-coated inside against corrosion. At 31 kg it is the lightest machine in the range.
When twenty-five litres without a dryer are enough
When the surgery has one chair and you handle moisture another way — with a central dryer downstream or by draining the receiver regularly. The air is oil-free from the start, so no filter is needed downstream to remove oil.
If you have no dryer and do not want to solve it separately, take the 25MD version: the same machine with an adsorption dryer that dries the air to a −40 °C dew point. It is twelve kilos heavier and somewhat deeper.

Machine detail
The open design leaves the pump, the cooler and the fittings accessible from above. Servicing and checking the drain take minutes, but the machine hides none of its noise.
Where to go if the CLR-1,1-25M does not fit

Delivery is the amount of air the machine supplies at 5 bar (FAD per the manufacturer leaflet); intake is the volume drawn in by the pump unit. The noise figure is the sound pressure at one metre from the machine; the sound power level Lwa is in the parameters. The capacity in chairs is calculated on 50 l/min at 5 bar per chair.

Without a dryer, expect to drain the receiver. Water in the pipework is a bigger problem for dental air than oil — and this machine does not solve oil simply because it has none.
