Clean Air CLR · dryer · 25 lA complete solution for one chair. The CLR-1,1-25MD adds an adsorption dryer with silica gel to the oil-free pump, so the air enters the receiver at a −40 °C dew point — no water condenses in the pipework or the instruments. Output 125 l/min at 5 bar, receiver 25 l, weight 43 kg.
What the dryer adds
An oil-free machine gives air without oil, but not without moisture. The dryer removes it in two steps: a cyclone separator catches the droplets from the cooler and the silica gel in the tower absorbs the rest. Regeneration happens automatically after every cycle, so it is not replaced like a filter element.
The dryer costs twelve kilos of weight and five centimetres of width against the version without it. Noise and output stay the same — 71 dB(A) at one metre and 125 l/min, exactly as on the 25M.

Delivery is the amount of air the machine supplies at 5 bar (FAD per the manufacturer leaflet); intake is the volume drawn in by the pump unit. The noise figure is the sound pressure at one metre from the machine; the sound power level Lwa is in the parameters. The capacity in chairs is calculated on 50 l/min at 5 bar per chair.

A −40 °C dew point is well below what a refrigerant dryer reaches. For dentistry it is the right choice — and because the silica gel regenerates itself, there is no consumable to buy.
