The 90 kW at ten bar gives 16,500 l/min — exactly what the 75 kW gives at eight. Three extra bar therefore cost a whole power class, and on machines this size that is an expensive tax.
Why 10 bar
Ten bar means 16,500 l/min against 20,000 at seven, or 18 % less. That is the largest pressure penalty in the lower half of the range. Regulation goes down to 4,000 l/min.

The dimensions of 2,280 × 1,500 × 1,950 mm, weight of 2,050 kg, DN 65 outlet and noise level of 78 dB(A) are identical across all three settings — it is one and the same machine.
How it differs from its neighbours
The smaller SCR-75/10EPM2 gives 13,700 l/min and regulates more flexibly — down to 21 % of output against 24 % on the 90 kW. The larger SCR-110/10EPM2 adds 4,500 l/min.
What is inside
Permanent magnet motor
Oil cooling in a closed circuit, IP65 protection, a design with no bearings. On 90 kW a saving of 5–6 % against IE2 is a figure you can see in the budget.
Direct drive through a taper coupling
No belts and no gearbox. On 90 kW a slipping belt would mean a loss of output that nobody notices until the electricity bill arrives.
Frequency inverter
Instead of blowing off the excess it reduces speed: 4,000 to 16,500 l/min steplessly, a floor at 24 % of output, pressure still within ±0.1 bar.
New-generation airend
A reground rotor profile and optimised ports. On a machine giving 16,500 l/min, every percent of efficiency means a different sum than it would on a small compressor.
SCR9000 controller
A graphical schematic of the machine, a service schedule and remote monitoring over RS485. A cascade of sixteen machines with no separate control cabinet.
What the machine needs in the compressor room
Ten bar, 16,500 l/min, or 990 m³/h, and ventilation of 17,500 m³/h. The 90 kW is the last class before the step up to DN 80 and to a frame 850 kg heavier — if the machine has to go into an existing compressor room, this is where the limit lies.

For ten-bar operation above 90 kW it is worth working out whether a pair of machines at different pressures does better — one at eight bar for the installation, one at ten for the demanding consumers. The material is in the SCR-EPM2 range.
It is the most expensive move to ten bar anywhere in the lower half of the range. On the 110 kW that tax is a third lower.
