Typical uses
It serves as the central air receiver downstream of several compressors rated at 13 or 15 bar, or as a large reservoir for gas at a higher pressure. It weighs 36 kilograms more than the 12-bar version.
A smaller 16-bar vessel is VVP2000-16-G1, and the same size for 12 bar is VVP3000-12-G1. A larger 16-bar volume is offered by VVP4000-16.
How it is made

Plan inspections in advance. For an internal inspection, the vessel is taken out of service and depressurised. Shut-off valves on the inlet and outlet save you from having to depressurise the whole network.
