Typical uses

It serves as the main air receiver for a medium-sized screw compressor in a container, under a canopy or in a hall that is not heated in winter. Its 2" side connections, one low and one high on opposite sides, allow the air to be fed in through the lower one and drawn off through the upper one, so the condensate stays at the bottom.

A larger volume and 45 mm less height are offered by VVP1500-12-G1, and the 16-bar version with the same dimensions is VVP1000-16-G1. For a heated compressor room, you only need the standard VVP1000-12.

How it is made

Automatic welder making a circumferential seam on a pressure vessel shell
Automatic circumferential welding of the shell
Worker grinding a socket weld on the shell of a pressure vessel
Finishing a socket weld

Ventilek’s tip

Drain the condensate before it freezes. In frost, ice forms in the bottom connection and in the condensate drain. Outdoors, therefore, drain the condensate more often than you would indoors.
