Typical uses

It serves as the main air receiver in production with a larger screw compressor, or as a nitrogen reservoir downstream of a generator. The large volume keeps the pressure stable even when several consumers draw from it at once.

A smaller option is VVP1500-12-G1, and a larger one is VVP3000-12-G1. The 16-bar version is VVP2000-16-G1.

How it is made

Automatic welder making a circumferential seam on a pressure vessel shell
Automatic circumferential welding of the shell

Ventilek’s tip

Outdoors, zinc pays off. A galvanised vessel has a protective layer inside and out, so damp and rain bother it less. With a painted vessel outdoors, make sure that the paint does not get damaged.
