MARK is an Italian maker of compressors and compressed air treatment products from northern Italy, a member of the Atlas Copco group since 1998. It makes piston compressors in more than 300 models, screw compressors with 2.2 to 160 kW motors and Ecolife and WIS oil-free compressors.
From MARK we offer compressor room equipment: zero-loss LD electronic condensate drains with service kits, the FOD21 oil-water separator and a bypass for MDX refrigeration dryers. The drain removes water from the air receiver, dryer and filter and keeps the compressed air in the line.

LD electronic drains
They drain the water and keep the air. A capacitive sensor opens the valve only when there is condensate in the reservoir and closes it before any air escapes.
- 9 sizes, 2 to 90 l/h
- for receivers, dryers and filters
- service kit for annual maintenance
FOD21 oil-water separator
Oily condensate does not belong in the sewer. The separator removes oil and dirt from the condensate of an oil-lubricated compressor, which greatly reduces the waste to be disposed of.
- for air flow up to 6,480 l/min without a dryer
- 1/2" outlet
- dimensions 470 × 165 × 600 mm
No socket near the compressor, or looking for a timed or float drain? You will find all condensate drains in one category.

Capacities apply at 7 bar, 20 °C and 60 % relative humidity. Models with the letter L have an extra side connection.
How to choose and install an LD drain
1. Find the location
Most condensate forms after the compressor, less at the dryer and least in the filter. Use the table column for the point where the drain will go, not the highest number.
2. Allow a reserve
Capacities apply at 7 bar, 20 °C and 60 % humidity. In warmer, more humid conditions there is more condensate, so a larger model pays off.
3. Install
The drain connects from the top with a thread, L models also from the side. The condensate outlet is a 12 mm push-in fitting, and the drain can be mounted vertically or horizontally.
4. Service once a year
At the annual service, replace the filter strainer and seals from the service kit. Use the test button to check that the valve is not blocked.
Frequently asked questions
- How do the L models differ?
- They have an extra side connection G 3/4"/G 1/2". Capacity and flows are the same as on the model without L. They suit places where you cannot reach the vessel from above.
- Does the LD drain need electricity?
- Yes, it runs on 230 V and has IP 65 protection. Where there is no socket near the compressor, a float drain that needs no power will do the job.
- Why electronic rather than timed?
- A timed drain opens the valve at set intervals even when there is nothing to drain, and lets compressed air out every time. The LD opens only when there is something to remove, so you do not lose the air you have produced.
- What is replaced at the annual service?
- The filter strainer and seals. For LD drains there is the LD annual maintenance service kit, for ECDB drains the ECDB-15MK, ECDB-90MK and ECDB-150MK kits.
- What to do with condensate from an oil-lubricated compressor?
- Untreated, it must not go into the sewer; it is disposed of as oil-contaminated waste. The FOD21 separator removes the oil and dirt from it, which greatly reduces the waste to be disposed of.
- What is the MDX-OP bypass for?
- It is a bypass line for MDX400 to MDX1800 refrigeration dryers. You can then replace the filter elements at the dryer without shutting down the air line.
