Silent Line LN · L1 cabinet · 87 dB LwaThe quietest of the ten. The B59-4-L1T holds 87 dB Lwa, two decibels below an equally large A49B — and that at four kilowatts and 570 l/min. The reason lies in the speed: the B59 pump turns 1,200 times a minute where the A49B does 1,300 to 1,400. L1 cabinet, weight 170 kg.
Why a slower pump
Lower speed means less noise, less wear and a lower working temperature. The price is that the machine delivers slightly less air than a faster-running pump of the same rating — 570 l/min against 598 l/min on the A49B-4-L1T.
Against the open version at four kilowatts the difference is 10 dB(A): 97 dB in the Pro Line frame against 87 dB here. That is the second largest gap in the whole category.

Where to go if the B59-4-L1T does not fit

The values apply to a 400 V / 50 Hz supply. Intake is the volume of air the pump draws in. Noise is given as the sound power level Lwa and as sound pressure at 4 m from the machine. A piston compressor works in cycles, not without a break.
