The B59-4-L2TX is the B59-4-L2T with a star-delta start added — the motor first runs up in star and only then switches to delta, so the current surge at starting is markedly gentler. The rest is identical: 570 l/min, 11 bar, 87 dB Lwa, L2 cabinet. It weighs 181 kg.
When a star-delta start pays off
Anywhere the compressor cuts in often or the supply is near its limit. A direct start on a four-kilowatt motor draws several times the rated current in the first moments; the star connection softens that surge and only switches to full power once the motor is up to speed. In practice it means fewer problems with the breaker and a calmer supply.
The price is four kilograms more than the version without the X — 181 instead of 177 kg — and a slightly more complex switchgear. Output, pressure and noise do not change.

Where to go if the B59-4-L2TX does not fit

The values apply to a 400 V / 50 Hz supply. Intake is the volume of air the pump draws in. Noise is given as the sound power level Lwa and as sound pressure at 4 m from the machine. A piston compressor works in cycles, not without a break.

If the breaker occasionally trips when the compressor starts, this is the answer. A two-step start removes that problem without touching the wiring.
