Silent Line LN · L1 cabinet · 553 l/minThe smallest two-stage machine in the range. The A49B-3-L1T gives 553 l/min at 11 bar in a cabinet measuring 750 × 580 mm — the same output the A49B pump has in the open Pro Line frame, only seven decibels calmer. The motor is 3 kW and the machine weighs 170 kg.
Why a two-stage pump
Two-stage compression happens in two steps: the air is first compressed in the larger cylinder, cooled in an intercooler and then compressed again in the smaller one. The result is a higher pressure at a lower temperature and less strain on the pump — which is why two-stage machines are used where a compressor runs long and often.
Against the open version of the same pump, the cabinet here takes off 7 dB(A): 96 dB in the Pro Line frame against 89 dB here. The intake stayed the same, 553 l/min at 1,300 rpm.

Where to go if the A49B-3-L1T does not fit

The values apply to a 400 V / 50 Hz supply. Intake is the volume of air the pump draws in. Noise is given as the sound power level Lwa and as sound pressure at 4 m from the machine. A piston compressor works in cycles, not without a break.
