Silent Line LN · L2 cabinet · 5.5 kWThe middle link of the large cabinet. The B60-5,5-L2TX gives 660 l/min at 11 bar and has a star-delta start — the step between the four-kilowatt machines and the 7.5 kW B70. Noise 88 dB Lwa, weight 240 kg. The pump turns at 1,150 rpm.
Why a 5.5 kW pump
The jump from 570 to 660 l/min is sixteen per cent more air — that is the difference between one workplace with a continuous draw and two. The slow speed (1,150 rpm) keeps the noise at 88 dB, only a decibel above the quietest machine in the category.
The open version at 5.5 kW reads 102 dB Lwa. The fourteen-decibel gap is the largest in the whole category, together with the 7.5 kW machines — and part of it comes precisely from those lower revolutions.

Where to go if the B60-5,5-L2TX does not fit
Less air and calmer running comes from the B59-4-L2TX (570 l/min, 87 dB), markedly more from the B70-7,5-L2TX at 1,070 l/min. The values apply to a 400 V / 50 Hz supply. Intake is the volume of air the pump draws in. Noise is given as the sound power level Lwa and as sound pressure at 4 m from the machine. A piston compressor works in cycles, not without a break.
