Product detailed description
Industrial piston compressor ATMOS Perfect 5.5/PFT (5.5 kW, 400 V)
Do you need maximum piston power for integration into technology or connection to an existing central air receiver? The ATMOS Perfect 5.5/PFT is a professional, slow-running cast iron compressor supplied on a base frame without a pressure vessel[cite: 40, 41]. The heart of the machine is the robust three-cylinder LB 75 unit, designed for demanding daily operation in industrial workshops, assembly lines, and biogas plants[cite: 4, 6, 45].
Why Choose Czech Quality from the Perfect 5.5/PFT Series?
- ✅ Record-low speed: The unit operates at just 950 rpm. This design ensures minimal wear, low operating temperature, and a record lifespan for the bearings[cite: 19, 30].
- ✅ Manual Assembly and Supervision: Each unit is hand-assembled by a specific mechanic who bears direct responsibility for its final quality and proper testing[cite: 32, 33, 34].
- ✅ Three-Cylinder LB 75 Heart: The cast-iron unit with a "W" arrangement offers perfect balance, smooth operation, and high energy efficiency[cite: 16, 17, 20].
- ✅ 60-Month Warranty: For the high reliability of the Czech Perfect series design, ATMOS Chrást provides an unlimited five-year warranty[cite: 36, 37, 55].
- Cast Iron Durability: Three-cylinder block made of high-quality cast iron designed for regular heavy-duty operation[cite: 15, 16, 19].
- Fully Automated Operation: Economical start-stop regulation by a branded pressure switch[cite: 22].
- Protection and Safety: Motor overload protection and a complete set of safety fittings[cite: 14, 45].
- Aftercooler: Standard equipment for effective reduction of air temperature and humidity[cite: 13, 49].
- Low Noise Level: Massive cast iron combined with low speeds effectively dampens noise[cite: 19, 30].
- Suitable for Continuous Operation: Robust construction allows deployment even in demanding biogas plants[cite: 6].
- Optimal Cooling: A large fan circulates air through generously dimensioned cooling fins[cite: 13, 25].
- Drive: V-belt designed for maximum lifespan of motor and unit bearings[cite: 12].
- Space Saving: The PFT version on a frame is ideal for installations in confined spaces under 0.5 m²[cite: 4, 49].
- Service comfort: Open design ensures quick access to all key parts[cite: 24, 25].

A domestic company of world quality
One of the leading companies operating in the field of compressed air not only in the Czech Republic, but also in the world, is the domestic manufacturer ATMOS Chrást s.r.o., which presents itself mainly by the production of screw and piston compressors, screw blocks and motor generators. The roots of the company go back to 1899, when foundries and machine shops were established in the West Bohemian village; during the communist regime, the machine shops belonged to the national company Škoda Plzeň. It was at the end of this era that the company began licensed production of screw blocks and screw compressors, which became very popular over the years due to their reliability. Since then, ATMOS has come up with more than 25 new compressor types - creating a range of mobile, locomotive or stationary compressors that are subject to the most stringent global standards, adding the hallmark of honest design that is so much a part of ATMOS even in today's consumer age.

A product offer for everyone
ATMOS is constantly working on new compressors and the characteristics are subject to regular technological research. As a result, the company has already come up with innovative ideas on several occasions, such as when it extremely reduced the noise level of stationary compressors without losing their top performance parameters, thanks to which they have been widely exported abroad. However, in addition to large companies, ATMOS also meets the needs of private customers with smaller workshop machines. Another breakthrough was the creation of the small and compact Albert compressors, whose product range is constantly expanding and are suitable for hobby use. More than 60 of these types are currently in production, with outputs ranging from 3 to 22 kW. The company is the youngest to launch motor generators, filling one of the gaps in the domestic market.
