Silent Line LN · L2 cabinet · 1,070 l/minThe top of the range. The B70-7,5-L2T gives 1,070 l/min at 11 bar — nearly twice what the smallest machine in the category makes, and it still holds 88 dB Lwa. The 7.5 kW pump turns at only 1,150 rpm, and the L2 cabinet weighs 253 kg with it.
Why seven and a half kilowatts in a cabinet
This rating is usually put into an open frame and banished to the boiler room, because in the open version it reads 102 dB Lwa. In the cabinet it is 88 dB — fourteen decibels less, which is the difference between “it has to go behind a wall” and “it can stand in the shop”.
You pay for that in two ways: 253 kg of weight and a slower pump. A thousand and seventy litres a minute at 1,150 rpm is less than the same rating gives at 1,300 rpm in an open frame — but that slow running is exactly why the machine is this calm.

Where to go if the B70-7,5-L2T does not fit

The values apply to a 400 V / 50 Hz supply. Intake is the volume of air the pump draws in. Noise is given as the sound power level Lwa and as sound pressure at 4 m from the machine. A piston compressor works in cycles, not without a break.

The strongest piston compressor you can put in a workshop without drowning out everything else. Do reckon with 253 kilograms, though, and with putting the receiver next to it.
